Pilibhit Tiger Reserve - Best Time To Visit

Best Time To Visit Pilibhit Tiger Reserve

When to Visit Pilibhit Tiger Reserve for the Best Jungle Experience

The most appropriate time to visit the Pilibhit tiger reserve is between November and April. The ideal visiting time of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is November to June, as the weather is very pleasant and the maximum wildlife is found at this time. This is the time that includes winter and summer seasons, and both have a different kind of experience in the forest.

November to February (Winter Season):

It is winter and the forest is green, misty, and alive. It is also the best season to watch birds since a number of migratory birds come from Central Asia and Europe. Safaris are also more comfortable in the cooler weather and early morning safaris in particular are very pretty with the grasses jewelled with dew and the golden light filtering through the sal trees.

March to June (Summer Season):

During this time the temperature is higher and the wildlife is more active around the water bodies so one can see a lot of tigers, leopards, and deer. The visibility is also enhanced by the dry grass and hence it is the best season to take photographs and to track the big cats. The early morning and late afternoon are the best times to go on safari to avoid the heat and to witness the movement of animals.

To enable the forest to regenerate and as a safety measure for visitors, the reserve is usually closed between July and mid-November during the monsoon season.

Being a wildlife enthusiast, bird watcher, or nature lover, you would not want to miss the chance of having the most memorable experience in the jungle by planning your visit within the recommended months.
