There are regular private taxis, cabs, and buses that ply in major nearby towns like Bareilly, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Shahjahanpur. The journey through rural Uttar Pradesh and the roads that are bordered by forests also contributes to the journey. Mahof Gate and Mustafabad (Chuka Beach Tourism Area) are the major entrance points to the reserve.

At the station, you can get local transport and taxis for direct transfer to the tiger reserve or your eco-tourism accommodation.

The nearest airports are Bareilly Airport (BEK) - about 60 km that is well connected with Delhi and other metropolitan cities, Pantnagar Airport (PGH) – about 110 km and Lucknow International Airport (LKO) – about 270 km. Once at the airport, you can either take a taxi or ride a train or a bus to Pilibhit. The most comfortable air point of entry for domestic tourists is Bareilly.
